Who we are

Revisionary (“we”, “us”) provides tools for live classrooms, lessons, and revision practice. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account details such as name and email when you sign up
  • Interest-list emails if you register before launch
  • Class, quiz, and practice content you create or join
  • Technical data needed to run the service, such as session data

How we use information

We use your information to provide Revisionary, keep accounts secure, send important service messages, and — only with consent — understand how the product is used so we can improve it. Where we process personal data, we do so under applicable data-protection law (including the UK GDPR / EU GDPR), for example to perform our contract with you, with your consent, or where we have a legitimate interest that doesn’t override your rights.

AI features

Some parts of Revisionary use artificial intelligence (for example to draft flashcards or practice questions). When you use those features, we may send the prompts and related content you provide — such as subject, topic, or other inputs needed to generate the result — to our AI service providers so they can return a response.

We use AI only to deliver the feature you asked for. We do not use your personal information, classroom content, or AI prompts to train our own AI models, and we configure our AI providers so that your data is not used to train their models.

AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. You’re responsible for reviewing generated content before relying on it for teaching or revision.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We may use trusted providers to host the app, send email, run AI features, or store data, only as needed to operate Revisionary and only under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also manage cookie preferences from the cookie banner. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
